Go Deeper with Your Story
Many people come to adulthood never having truly dealt with pains and patterns experienced in childhood and how that story may be impacting current challenges of life. You are invited to join us for a weekend exploring how your early years have made a mark on you today and in the process find hope, healing and freedom in the truths of the gospel. Within this community, it is our hope that you will gain an increased awareness of grace and a deeper intimacy with the Author of your story.
The Journey is offered in a weekend format
6 pm, November 12 – 4:00 pm, November 15 at Christ Church.
Over the course of the weekend you can expect to cover such topics as:
Learning to Lament
Not Looking Away from Injustice
Dealing with Shame and Contempt
Recognizing Relational Styles
Forgiveness
Disappointment
Celebrating Victory
While we recognize that folks come to the Journey from a variety of perspectives and backgrounds it is important to know that while we will dive into these deep areas with care and respect, we will ultimately unapologetically look to God’s word to guide us and with confidence that only the gospel can heal us.
Cost: $75 includes materials and three meals
