Sunday School

Classes for Children & Teens 

Each Sunday during the school year we offer Sunday School classes for your children beginning at age 2. Our children’s ministry is centered on discipling the next generation, preparing them to be lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. The curriculum we use equips children by firmly rooting them in God’s Word. Each level of the curriculum contributes to the overall objective of a well-rounded, in-depth biblical education.

Adult Institute Classes

Find the intersection of faith in God with life in the world through a variety of electives designed to help you grow in your knowledge of God and His Word and to equip you to engage in lifelong personal study and discipleship. Classes run for 6-8 weeks.

MISSION & EVANGELISM
From God's first command to "be fruitful and multiply, and subdue the earth," to Jesus's command to "go into the world and make disciples," God has always sent and empowered his people to spread his good news across the earth. Part of the "Foundations" track at Christ Church, we hope that through the material shared each person is enabled further to participate in the call to be God's witness.

SERMON RESPONSE
You are welcome at the circle to talk about what God is stirring up in your heart through the presentation of the word this morning. It’s ok to just listen also. Second service attenders come and get a preview.

PHILIPPIANS & EVANGELICAL SPIRITUALITY
Philippians, written from prison, is known for its joy-filled perspective on the Christian life, which Paul grounds in the Christlike humility that enables us to live in selfless service to others. In this study we will consider how the gospel enables us to be realists about ourselves and our life’s circumstances and confidently fulfilled, gratefully content, and over-flowingly joyful in Christ.

PROPHETS, PRIESTS & PEOPLE OF THE PERSIAN PERIOD
This class will provide a short history of the Persian Period especially as it relates to scripture. The class will provide a context and introduction to Chronicles, Ezra-Nehemiah, Esther, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi.
