Tape Ministry

Our vision for the Tape Ministry is to do whatever it takes to spread the Gospel to all that wish to hear it.

The "Tape Ministry" is actually a large media ministry that spans audio, video, computers and the Internet.

History

The present Tape Ministry began in the spring of 1992 in response to a church bulletin ad for someone to make two copies of the service a week.

At that time, the deacons made tapes of the service as best they could with all the other Sunday morning activities. Tapes were not always recorded, and some of the service was usually lost, due to the equipment setup.

Presently, we have a crew of technicians who monitor every service, adjusting the live sound as well as the digital and analog recording levels.

Audience

We send many tapes and CDs to six countries outside the U.S.A, and produce recordings of most church events, which are listed in the Library section of this topic.

The Process

Recordings are made at Christ Church on professional grade equipment, with experienced technicians and engineers. Due to the complexity of our equipment, untrained personnel are not permitted to use the equipment without supervision.

Masters are mixed and edited on digital equipment off site. Ample copies of all masters are made available before the final masters are completed.

The last week of September, 2005, we added a high speed CD duplicator to our inventory to keep up with CD requests.

We have also added Online Sermons to our Library. Sermons from the last eight weeks are available Online.

We are more than happy to extend the use of our equipment, talents and years of experience to all, but due to intense schedules, please do us the courtesy of letting us know your needs in a timely manner.
