Food Pantry Ministry

The Food Pantry Ministry provides the congregation with encouragement and support.

We are commanded by our Lord to show hospitality and care to those with less. We are to share our bounties with one another.

To get the entire covenant community active in this mercy ministry, we distribute grocery bags once a month. Each bag has a list of items to be placed in it. The bags are then brought back on the following Sunday.

Then on Monday, we shop for remaining groceries using funds that the deacons have been good enough to give us, so that we can buy fresh meat, cheese, bread, milk and eggs to complete the menu.
